Registered Nurse
Edith M. Bragger, long time Nutley Resident, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2017. Born in Jersey City, the daughter of the late Frank & Margaret (Hoffman) Bragger and she was the sister of the late Elsie M. Bragger.
Before her retirement in 1995, she worked as a Registered Nurse with the Glen Ridge Board of Education. Edith attended Upsala College and concurrently attended the Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Science. She studied Health Education at Jersey City State, was a member of the National AARP, the New Jersey Education Association, the National Association so School Nurses, NJ State School Nurses, the Fitness Center at Mountainside Hospital, a Volunteer at the National Park Service – Edison National Historical Sight in West Orange and a Docent at Glenmont in Llewelyn Park.
Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley on Monday from 10 until 11:30 a.m.
The interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover.
