Edward A. Sellmeyer, 75 of Lanoka Harbor and formerly of Nutley, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022. Born in Newark, NJ, Edward was the son of the late Frederick and Florence (Hetzel) Sellmeyer. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. He retired from the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission in 2009. He was a member of the VFW Post 493, American Legion 105 and the Lacey Moose Lodge 1907. He enjoyed spending his time on the water in Barnegat Bay, fishing, crabbing and clamming with a beer in his hand.

The beloved husband of the late Teresa (Severino) Sellmeyer. He was predeceased by his siblings Frederick, Robert, Ronald, and Ginger. Edward is survived by his children Edward A. Sellmeyer Jr. and Lora Biro and her husband Robert, grandchildren Kayla Sellmeyer, Julianna Biro, and Tyler Biro, sisters Barbara and Patricia, and many family members and friends.

Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown and Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre Street, Nutley, NJ on Friday, July 29, 2022 from 3-6pm.

Cremation was private.
