Obituary for Eileen M. Russell (Quirk)

Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend.

Eileen M. Russell died peacefully on April 11, 2022. Born on Valentine’s Day in 1933 to Julia (Murphy) and Nicholas Quirk, she graduated from St. Cecilia High School in Kearny, NJ and worked at Prudential Insurance before moving to Nutley where she raised her family and lived for 58 years. Above all, Eileen adored her family and friends. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Hank, with whom she shared her greatest joy in raising their family of three cherished children: Hank Jr. (Laura), Joe (Judy) and Kathy Anne; and was extremely proud and delighted to be blessed with their four grandsons: Colin (Claire), Mark, Kyle and Tyler.

Eileen thoroughly enjoyed the simple pleasures of sharing a cup of tea and laughter with her many cherished friends throughout her 89 years or reading a book with her sweet pup, Blarney, on her lap.
Eileen will always be remembered by her family and friends for her warmth, kind heart, devout faith, and devotion to her family.
