Former Owner of the Chandelier
Eileen Apicella, 78 of Belleville passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019. Born in Passaic, the daughter of John and Mary (McCormick) Traynor, she lived in Rutherford prior to moving to Belleville 55 years ago. Eileen was the former owner of the Chandelier in Belleville.
The beloved wife of the late Thomas R. Apicella, she is survived by her children, Eileen Tucci and her husband, Dr. Mauro Tucci, Thomas “Tommy Jr.” Apicella, Jennifer Bell and John Apicella; her sisters, Patricia McCarter and Elizabeth Antonucci and 8 loving grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Moira Traynor and 2 brothers, Peter and John Traynor.
The funeral will be Monday at 8:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 9:30 a.m.
The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) would be appreciated.
