Eleanor Brush, 69 of Nutley passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. Born in New York City, she lived in Jersey City before moving to Nutley 39 years ago. Prior to her retirement, she worked with Skoloff & Wolfe in Livingston as a Legal Secretary.
Eleanor is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Brush; her children Ivy Lynn Pulecio and her companion, Joe, Robert Brush and his wife, Lisa, Jamie Brush and his companion, Lidia, Patricia Ferrarelli and her husband, Robert and Cynthia Franchino and her husband, David. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Emilie and her companion, A.J., R.J., Jason, Jessica, Sylas and Gabriel; her mother, Maria (Velez) Garcia, her sister, Theresa Garcia and her niece and nephew, Jessica and Joseph. She was predeceased by her father, Juan Garcia and her brothers, Juan Garcia, Jr. and Gilbert Garcia.
The funeral will be Monday, November 25, 2019 from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley at 9 a.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Nutley at 10 a.m.
The interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Kearny.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-4 pm.
