Eleanor Strumolo, 75 of Belleville, passed away on Sunday January 10, 2021. Born in Newark, she was the daughter of the late Orlando and Jennie (Russo) Graziano. Eleanor lived in Nutley before coming to Belleville 53 years ago. She was the owner of Ellie’s Kitchen in Belleville, where she treated all the customer like family. Her meatballs, eggplant and rice pudding will be greatly missed along with many of her special Italian dishes.
Eleanor is survived by her husband, Vincent L. Strumolo, her devoted children Denise Corbo and husband, Gerard, Renee Strumolo and Vincent L. Strumolo, Jr. and fiancée Eva Speziale. She also leaves her loving grandchildren, Dana Marie Colon and husband, Christopher, Gerard Corbo, Nico Corbo, Dominick Spagnoli and Julieanne Castro also we can’t forget her favorite puppy grandson Jeter. Eleanor was the dear sister of Orlando Graziano, Jr., Eddie Graziano , who is her twin brother, Marie Strumolo, Patricia Wyble, Roseann Graziano, and the late Frank and Sabato Graziano and the late Dulce Gruzinski.

Relatives and friends will be received for a walk-though visitation at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Thursday January 14 from 4:30 to 7:30 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Church in Belleville at 10:30 am on Friday.
Cremation will be private.
