Eleanora A. Vitale, 86, of Newark, passed away Friday, May 21, 2021. A lifelong resident of Newark, she was the daughter of the late John and Jessica (Battone) Voltolin. A devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, Eleanora was predeceased by her beloved husband Salvatore Vitale, and her brothers, Mario, Peter, Vasco, and Joseph Voltolin. She is survived by her son, Frank Anthony Vitale and his wife Theresa; grandchildren, Salvatore Vitale and his wife Tracy, and Frank A. Jr. Vitale and his wife Kimberly; and 5 great-grandchildren, Salvatore, Madeline, Hayley, Danielle, and Nicholas.


The funeral service will be held from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley on Wednesday, May 26th at 10:30am.

The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 25th from 5-8pm.
