Ellen Byrne, 75 of Bloomfield, passed away on Wednesday October 10, 2018. Born in Montclair, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Peggy (Geckler) Griggs. Ellen was a lifelong resident of Bloomfield and was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She also bred birds, loved animals and was a former member of the Clifton African Violet Growers Club.
Predeceased by her daughter, Gina Baldino, she is survived by her beloved husband, Frank A. Byrne, her daughters, Charlene Magno and Deniene Presti. She also leaves her grandchildren, Christopher Magno, George and Lauren Presti and Michael Baldino and her great grandson, Jayden Lavezzari.

Relatives and friends and friends are invited to a memorial gathering at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Wednesday October 17 from 6-8 pm.

A Service will also be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 7:45 pm.

Cremation was private.
