Obituary for Ellen Mary De Rosa
Loving Sister and Aunt
On Wednesday, January 4, 2023, Ellen Mary De Rosa, age 74, loving sister and aunt passed away after a long illness. She is predeceased by her parents Vincent and Anne De Rosa. She was formerly a resident of Nutley, Montclair, and Lebanon Township, NJ.
Ellen is survived by her loving sisters Dianne De Rosa and Christine Reczek (James). She is also survived by her nephew Joe (Rebecca), niece Rin (Danny Snider), and nephew Jeff (Jane), seven great nieces and nephews and her good friend Ken Brown. We will remember the wonderful holidays we spent together every year with Ellen, and the joy she showed spending time with her family. Ellen was a graduate of Marylawn of the Oranges Academy and Bloomfield College. Ellen was a dedicated employee of PSE&G and retired after a 36-year career.
The funeral will be on Saturday, January 14, at 9:30am at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:30am The interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair, NJ.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday, January 13, 2023, from 4-7pm.
