Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother
Emilia Velasquez, of Nutley passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019. Born in Cabana, Peru, the daughter of Manuel and Martina (Remigio) Velasquez, she lived in Peru prior to moving to Nutley 15 years ago.
The beloved wife of the late Humberto Aranda, she is survived by her children, Rosa, Reyna, Elena, Victor and Javier Aranda; 36 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and her husband, Emilia was predeceased by 3 children, Julio, Consuela and Hilda Aranda and 4 sisters and brothers.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley at 12 Noon.
The Cremation will be private
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) would be preferred.
