Loving Wife, Mother, Sister, and Grandmother
Carmella “Emily” Vangieri, 93, of Belleville, passed away peacefully at home on November 15, 2022. Born in Passaic, she resided in Lyndhurst prior to moving to Belleville in 1949. Emily was the owner of The Glass Gallery with her daughter Patty, in Nutley. She was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Assunta (Guizio) Carullo. Carmella “Emily” was predeceased by her loving husband Salvatore. She is survived by her loving children Janet Goglia, and her husband Thomas, her daughters Patricia Vangieri, Donna Complitano, and her partner Frank D’Allesandro, and her son Robert C. Vangieri, and his wife Gloria, a sister Mary Langavin, and her grandchildren Salvatore Vangieri, Gabriella, and her husband Gianfranco Macaluso, Victoria Maruzza, Thomas Goglia and Christian Albanese.
The funeral will be Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 8:30am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley at 9:30am
The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday, November 18, 2022, from 2-4pm and 6-9pm.
