Loving Wife, Mother, Sister and Grandmother and Great Grandmother
Emma A. DiGiovanna, 93, of Mt. Arlington, passed away on January 9, 2022.
Born in Newark, she resided in Nutley and Toms River prior to moving to Mt. Arlington. Emma was the daughter of the late Michael and Frances (Cerino) Le Pree. She retired from the Nutley Board of Education as a Paraprofessional (Administrative Assistant). She was predeceased by her loving husband James H. DiGiovanna, Sr. She leaves behind her children, son James H., Jr., and his wife Francine, her daughter Catherine Cowie, and son Stephen, and his wife Debra, and her grandchildren, Darryl Grosso, Melissa Street, Jessica Andrews, Stephanie Ingram, James M, Richard, Christina, Stephen, and Michael DiGiovanna, as well as her 13 great grandchildren.
The funeral will be Friday, January 14, 2022, from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley at 10:00am.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mother Cabrini Chapel at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley at 11:00am.
The interment will follow at Northern New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 75 N Church Road, Sparta, NJ 07871.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 4-6pm
