Obituary for Esther L. Iovino
Loving Sister, Aunt, and Companion
Esther Iovino, age 96, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2020. Esther was born in Newark, NJ and resided there prior to moving to Nutley over 50 years ago.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an assembler for the Lionel Corp. in Irvington, NJ and Westinghouse, Newark.
Esther is predeceased by her parents, Carmela (Porcelli) and Sabino Iovino, her companion, Bill Coen, and her siblings, Nicholas Iovino, Thomas Iovino, Michael Iovino, Helen Bottone, Madeline Gizzo, Lydia Ruvolo and Alba Salerno. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.
The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care and support that Esther and her late sister Lydia, received from their caregiver, Donna.
The funeral will be on Thursday, October 29th from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church in Nutley at 10:30am.
The entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, October 29th from 8:30am to 10am.
