Etta Andrews, of Nutley, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. Born in Newark, NJ, she resided in Rutherford prior to moving to Nutley in 1965. Etta was the daughter to the late Dominick and Elizabeth (Cavalier) Tomeo. Etta retired as an administrative assistant with Community Mental Health in Belleville, NJ. She was a volunteer at St. Vincent’s Nursing home, she also volunteered at St. Barnabas Hospice Thrift Shop, Montclair, and the Nutley Red Cross throughout her retirement years. She is survived by her husband John A. Andrews, her children Stephen Andrews and his wife Louise, and Clifford Andrews, niece Judy Giuliano, nephew Robert Giuliano, cousins Allan, Dolores and Robert, and her granddaughter Cayla. Etta sacrificed her whole life for her family and always gave back to the community. Etta will be greatly missed by all who were touched by Etta.

The funeral will be Monday, November 1, 2021, from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley at 9:00am.

The funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 120 Prospect Street, Nutley at 10:00am.

The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday, October 31, 2021, from 2-5pm.
