Loving Husband, Father & Grandfather
Eugene Danchak, age 86 of Belleville, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019. Born in Olyphant, PA, Eugene was the son of Samuel and Kathryn (Onuschak) Danchak.
He retired as an assembler for Plessey Dynamics in East Hanover for 17 years. Previously he worked for Walter Kidde Co. in Belleville for 24 years.
Eugene was a proud Army Veteran of the Korean War, member of American Legion Post 105 of Belleville, Nutley Elks Lodge #1290, Belleville Knights of Columbus, Belleville AARP, Belleville Tuesday & Friday Senior Club, a Democratic Committeeman of Belleville and a devout communicant of Holy Family Church. He enjoyed all types of music and concerts in the park, playing cards, especially 500 Rummy, and was an avid NY Giants & Yankees fan. His favorite Band was Def Leppard!!.
Eugene is survived by his loving wife, Arlene (Chichura) Danchak; his beloved children, Lori Castro, Catherine Kondreck, Sam Danchak, and Eugene R. Danchak; and his cherished grandchildren, Ryan Castro, Brandon Castro, Sarah Danchak, Sammy Danchak, Cory Kondreck, and Kyle Kondreck.
Along with his parents, Eugene was also predeceased by his dear brother, Gerald Danchak.
The Funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church at 10:30am.
Cremation will be private.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8pm.
