Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather & Great-Grandfather
Frank A. Stefanelli, III, 84 of Belleville passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019. Born in Newark, the son of Frank A. and Mary (Fullman) Stefanelli, he lived in Nutley prior to moving to Belleville 59 years ago.
Prior to his retirement, he was a partner in Frank Stefanelli Trucking in Wallington. An avid golfer and very loving and giving person, he was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the North Arlington Knights of Columbus, Elks BPOE #1992 and Columbian Club.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Patricia A. (Pasztor) Stefanelli, 4 children, Frank A. IV and his wife, Debbie, Michael and his wife, Joan, Jean Ann Brown and her husband, James and Anthony Stefanelli and his husband, Albert; his grandchildren, Todd and his wife, Tracee, Meredith, Brielle, Michael, Kristen, Joseph, Steven and his wife, Lindsay, Marissa and her husband, Cory and Gianna; 4 great-grandchildren, Luca, Eva, Giuliana and Christian; and his sister, Mary Ann Morrell and his brother, Joseph “Ronnie” Stefanelli. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Audrey Zangara and Marilyn Stefanelli
The funeral will be Monday, September 9, 2019 from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley at 9:45 a.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church in Nutley at 10:45 a.m.
The entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in No. Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) would be preferred.
