Obituary for Frank J. Truncali

World War II Navy Veteran

Frank Truncali, 92 of Bloomfield, NJ passed away on November 9, 2018. He was born in Manhattan to Italian immigrants, Joseph and Jennie (De Capoli) Truncali. The family moved to the Bronx when Frank was 15 years old. He was employed by the Township of Bloomfield for 31 years, retiring in 1991 as Supervisor of Garage Services. He was a lifetime member of the Nutley Elks Lodge #1290, the Old Guard of Nutley and the Belleville Seniors Club. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Theresa and his daughter, Margretta Colangelo and her husband, Vincent. He also leaves his grandson, Vincent Colangelo, 3 uncles, Paul Truncali and his wife, Antoinette, Lawrence and his wife, Connie, Salvatore and his wife, Louise and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St. Nutley on Tuesday November 20 at 9 am.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Bloomfield at 10 am followed by entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.

Visiting will be at the funeral home on Monday November 19 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm., Nutley Old Guard service will be 3:30 p.m.
