George Warren Greendale, 90, formerly of Caldwell, passed away on Sunday July 24, 2022. Born in Staten Island, NY, he was the son of the late Ellis and Violet (Burke) Greendale. George lived in Nutley before coming to Caldwell in 1999 and was an accountant and auditor with Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey before retiring. George was a graduate of Wagner College and a proud U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean War as an Aviation Electronics Technician. He was an avid Wagner College men's basketball fan and loved attending the circus throughout his life. George is survived by his children, Gary Greendale, Deanna Cacciatore and Gail Greendale, MD. He also leaves his grandchildren, Madison, Dominick, Isabella, Max and Lucas and was the dear brother of the late Kenneth and Donald Greendale.

Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Sunday July 31 from 2-5 pm. A Memorial Service and military honors will be conducted at 4:30 pm.
