Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather
George F. Haug, 78 of Nutley, passed away Monday, December 16, 2019. Born in Newark to George and Helen (Flizack) Haug he lived in Newark before moving to Nutley 28 years ago. Prior to his retirement, he was a Sexton at Glen Ridge Congregational Church and was an active member in the Lake Owassa Community Association.
George is survived by his beloved wife Briget A. (Palmer) Haug, his caring children, Christina Wilkes, Robert Haug, Christopher Haug, Elizabeth Keegan, Benjamin and Morgin Haug, his sister Jacequeline Slingerland and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Along with his parents he was predeceased by his sister Ethel Bianchi, his son George Haug and his daughter Kathy Haug.
Memorial service will be Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Glen Ridge Congregational Church in Glen Ridge.
