Geraldine R. Auriemma, 85 of Belleville passed away on December 22, 2020 at her home. Born in the Bronx, NY, she resided in Belleville for 57 years. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and sister. The daughter to the late Charles and Maude (Hughes) Cerchia. She was married to the late John V. Auriemma. Geraldine leaves behind her children, Charles Auriemma, Diane Radin and her husband Eddie, John V. Auriemma Jr. and his wife Janet, Nick Auriemma and his wife Jamie and Paul Auriemma and his wife Jennifer, sisters Sue, Dorothy, Fran, Rita and Gloria., she also leaves behind ten grandchildren: Hailey, AngeLena, Nicky, Giannah, Jaye, Jarrett, Tara, Kayla, Ariana, Giovanni and five great grandchildren, Jayda, Lyla, Noah, Jonah, and Aria.
Geraldine loved to dance and loved her visits to Atlantic City with her sisters. She will be most remembered for the love she had for her family and also being the Matriarch of Santa’s Workshop on Mount Prospect Avenue.
The funeral will be from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley. On Sunday January 3. 2021 1-4.
Cremation will be private.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday January 3, 2021 from 1-4pm
