Obituary for Gerard J. Walsh
Retired Pension Consultant
Gerard J. Walsh, 70, of Belleville passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018. Born in Syracuse, NY, the son of John Gerard and Irene Walsh, he lived in Bloomfield prior to moving to Belleville 48 years ago.
He retired from Transamerica in White Plains, NY as a Pension Consultant. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Knights of Columbus, is currently secretary of the Belleville Planning Board and a former member of the Belleville Zoning Board.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cathy (Berezansky) Walsh; two daughters, Suzanne Walsh and Marcella Uhlig and five granddaughters, Alyssa, Odyssey, Trinity, Liberty and Megan.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at St. Mary’s Church, 17 Monsignor Owens Place in Nutley at 10:45 a.m.
The inurnment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington will be private.
