Gertrude De Woolf, 81 of Belmar passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at her home. Born in Newark, the daughter of Arnold and Ida (Christopher) Del Maestro, she lived in Newark, East Orange and the Jersey Shore area prior to moving to North Arlington 5 years ago.
Prior to her retirement, Gertrude worked for the Township of Belmar as a custodial engineer.
The beloved wife of the late Richard De Woolf, she is survived by her children, Michelle Remollino, Lisa, Dorren and Kim De Woolf, and Stephen Marinaro; 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and her sister, Rose Marie Del Maestro.
The funeral service will be held at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 7:30 p.m.
The cremation services will be private
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 6 p.m. until service time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be accepted at the funeral home.
