Gina C. Medina, 55, of Newark, passed away on December 12, 2021. Born in Newark, NJ, she resided there her entire life. Gina was the daughter of Eugene and Gwendolyn (Gandy) Groelly. Raised by Gayton and Mary Giordano. She leaves behind her loving husband Ernest, children, Jessica Vega, Donna Colon, Enrique Vega, Melissa Cruz, Stephanie Medina, Shawn Gills, Cristina Medina, Sandy Gills, Ernie Medina and Tina Gills, her siblings Eugen Groelly, Lisa Groelly, Anthony, Nicholas and Gaetano Giordano, Mary Karasmanis, Garry and John Giordano, Linda Mead and Tina Giordano, plus fourteen grandchildren.
The funeral will be Friday, December 17, 2021, at 9:00am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley, NJ at 10:00am.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday December 16, 2021, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.
Cremation will be private.
