Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather
Giuseppe Cosentino, 81, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023. Born in St. Andrea Ionio, Italy, Giuseppe was the son of the late Andrea and Maria Antonia (Nesci) Cosentino. He retired as a doorman for 998 5th Avenue Corp in 2017. Giuseppe is survived by his beloved wife, Caterina (Armogida) Cosentino, his children Antoinette Cosentino-Schwenk and her husband Michael, Andrew Cosentino and his wife Anna, Marietta Cosentino-Vasquez and her husband Alfred and four grandchildren Catherine, Anna, Peter, and Joseph. He also leaves behind siblings, nieces and nephews, and countless friends.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 3rd from 4 – 8pm.
The funeral will be Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 9:30am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Ave., Nutley at 10:30am.
The entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum, North Arlington.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center or the American Heart Association.
