School Crossing Guard

Gloria M. Christopher, of Nutley, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. Born in Newark, she resided in Nutley for most of her life.
Gloria retired from the Township of Nutley Police Department as a School Crossing Guard.
The beloved wife of the late Carmen M. Christopher, she is survived by her daughters, Karen Christopher-Dolocheck, Susan Christopher-Brandt and her husband, Robert, and Cathy Christopher-Hull and her loving grandchildren, Michael, Daniel, Amanda, Nicole, Kelly and Carly. She was also predeceased by her brother, John Miele, Sr.

The funeral will be Saturday at 9 am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Nutley at 10 am.

The entombment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 pm.
