Loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, and Grandmother

Harriet Cannella, lifelong resident of Belleville, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024. Born in Newark, NJ, Harriet was the daughter of the late Thomas and Harriet (Raymond) Smith. She worked in Records for Hoffman LaRoche, Nutley. While only 5ft tall, she was nonstop with a heart of gold, would always take the side of the underdog, and touched the lives of so many. She leaves her husband of 55 years, Robert Cannella, her two daughters Denise Anderson and her husband Gary, and Dawn Otero and her husband Dwight, sisters Irene, Janet, and Doris, brothers Charles and George, five grandchildren Derrick, Dilan, Danielle, Ronald, and Natalie, and many great nieces and great nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial remembrance at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley, on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 1 – 5pm.
