Obituary for Harriet Casta (Szydlowski)
Harriet Casta of Bloomfield, passed away peacefully May 31, 2020 at the Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains. She lived an incredible 99 years. Born in Bloomfield to Emil and Gladys Szydlowski. She lived in Belleville for more than 25 years before moving to Clifton and then returning to Bloomfield.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony, her son Joseph and her sister, Helen. She leaves her devoted daughter Patricia and her husband, Ken Lauer, her cherished grandchildren, Kelly and David along with many dear nieces and nephews.
Services for Harriet and burial at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
