Harry Mantz, 84, of West Caldwell, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018. Born in Allentown, PA, the son of Orville G. and Alberta (Christman) Mantz, he lived in Nutley and Utah, returning to Nutley from 1970 until 2016 and then to West Caldwell.
He was the current owner of Granville Sales, Inc. in Nutley since 1983. Harry earned his BA in Business Administration from Utah University and was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era.
Predeceased by his first wife, Jean (Reilly) Mantz, he is survived by his wife, Phyllis Thatcher Clauberg; his daughters, Kimberly Vigilante and Judy Lee Pugliese; his step-children, Greg, Timothy and Kurt Clauberg and Robin Offrede; his grandchildren, Jason and Jeffrey Vigilante, Joshua, William and Tyler Pugliese and Maleah Clauberg and 2 great-grandchildren, Emiliana Grace and Regan.
The funeral service will be held at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 6:30 p.m.
The cremation services will be private.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
