Helen Failla, 86 of Nutley, passed away on Friday August 7, 2020. Born and raised in Newark she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Giovannina (DeSantis) Cioffi. Mrs. Failla came to Nutley in 1959 and was a cashier at the Pathmark in Belleville before retiring. Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband, Salvatore Failla. She was the dear sister of Mary Sperrazzo, Ida Marsillo and the late Louisa Limitone, Anna Italia Glospie and Albert Cioffi. She also leaves many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Wednesday August 12 at 8:30 am.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, Nutley at 9:30 am followed by entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 pm.
