Helen Maddalena, 89, of Barnegat, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023. Born in Newark, NJ, Helen was the daughter of the late Gerald and Mary (DeSordi) Sibello. She worked as a Crossing Guard for the Township of Nutley. Helen is survived by her beloved husband Joseph Maddalena, her children Scott Daisey and Jaqueline Modica and her husband Joseph, brother Richard Sibello, sister Barbara Davide, grandchildren Jordan Modica, Lisa Lanphier, Melanie Daisey-Belford, Caitlin Modica and William Modica, and great-grandchildren Kira Belford and Colleen Modica. She is predeceased by her first husband William Daisey, brothers Gerald Sibello and Robert Sibello, and grandson William Daisey, Jr.
Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley, on Monday, April 10, 2023, from 10am – 12pm. Graveside Service at 12:30pm at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington.
