Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother
Helen S. Pontrella, 89, of Belleville, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Helen was born in Clinton, NJ. A dedicated wife and loving mother and grandmother, she dedicated her life to her family. Helen is survived by her children Diana Vicari and her husband Gaetano, Susan Scioscia, Joseph Pontrella and his wife Lisa, and Thomas Pontrella and his wife Stephanie, nine grandchildren Carmen, Anthony, Arianna, Steven, Justin, Christopher, Rocco, Luna, and Mariella, and three great-grandchildren Jaxon, Lucas, and Alessia.
The funeral will be Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 9:30am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am at Holy Family Church, Nutley.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday, February 23rd from 4 – 8pm.
