Loving Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather
Herbert F. Laird, 88, of Clifton, passed away on November 23, 2021, at his home. Born in Newark, NJ, he was raised in Nutley before moving to Clifton, 55 years ago.
Herbert was the son of the late Herbert George and Elizabeth (De Bow) Laird. He is survived by his loving wife MaryAnn (Sacks) Laird, his children, Jane Russillo, and her husband Vincenzo, Amy Mocarsky, Joan Szabo, David Laird and James Laird, sisters BettyAnn Buzzi and Diane Lowery, ten grandchildren, Stefano, and Gianna Russillo, Alayna, Olivia and Rebecca Mocarsky, Jennifer, Jessica, James and Jackson Cruz, and Veronica Laird, great granddaughter Aaliyah Robbins. Herbert was a Veteran, in the US Army, serving in the Korean War, he retired as an Insurance Auditor with the Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, Morris Plains, NJ.
Memorial visitation will be at 2:00pm, on Monday, December 20, 2021, memorial service will begin at 3:30pm, followed by military honors, from the S.W. Brown and Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre Street, Nutley, NJ 07110.
