Irene Montalbano, 80, a lifelong resident of Belleville, passed away on January 7, 2022. Irene was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rosemarie (Brindisi) Nori. Irene worked at IHOP in Union as a waitress for 25 years. She was predeceased by her husband Michael Cerza, her son Michael Cerza and her brother Joseph Nori. She is survived by her children Cathy Veniero and her husband Ray, Frank Cerza and his fiancé Eileen, Michele Cerza and her daughter in law Joanne Cerza; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
The funeral will be on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley. At 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Belleville, NJ at 11 AM.
Cremation is private.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Monday, January 10, 2022, from 4-8pm.
