Obituary for Isabella Lopreiato (Pezzo)
Isabella Lopreiato, 89, of Nutley, passed away on June 16, 2022. Born in Sant’Onfrio, Calabria, Italy she came to America in 1953 and settled in Newark, NJ. Then in 1966 moved to Nutley where she lived for the remainder of her life. Isabella was the daughter of the late Paolo and Caterina Pezzo. Isabella was former Eucharist Minister at Holy Family Church. She was predeceased by her husband Onofrio, her brothers Fortunato and Raffaele.
She leaves behind her sons Paul, and his wife, Lillian “Angela”, and Matthew, and his wife Sandy, daughters Catherine Corino, and her husband Carmine and Maria Malfitano, and her husband Mario, her sister Victoria Augurusa, and her grandchildren Frank, Carmine and Christopher Corino, Melissa Smith, Dina, and Matthew Lopreiato, and 11 great grandchildren.
The funeral will be June 25, 2022, at 9:30am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.
A mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley at 10:30am
The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, NJ
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday, June 24, 2022, from 4-8pm
