Devoted wife and mother, active in church community
Isabelle Watson Jocz of Freehold, passed away on Wednesday September 27, 2017. Born in Jersey City, she was the daughter of the late James and Isabelle (Mac Arthur) Watson. Isabelle was raised in Kearny and lived in Nutley before coming to Freehold 35 years ago. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, and also enjoyed doing ceramics and had previously been an active member of Vincent United Methodist Church in Nutley. She is survived by her beloved husband, Edmund A. Jocz, Jr. and her children, Edmund A. III, Gregory S. and Jennifer L. Jocz. She was predeceased by her son, Stephen J. Jocz and also leaves her sister, Ellen Sarvis.
Family and friends will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Friday September 29 from 5-7 pm and Saturday morning from 8:30 am prior to the service at Grace United Methodist Church, 380 Kearny Ave. Kearny at 9:30 am.
Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Kearny.
