Loving Husband and Brother
James A. Battaglino, 77 of Nutley, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2020. Born in Jersey City, the son of the late James and Rose (Trenta) Battaglino, James retired as a calibrator for Hoffman- LaRoche. Prior to working at LaRoche, he was a truck driver for different locals. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. James is survived by his beloved wife, Cecelia (Casiere) Battaglino; a brother, Anthony Battaglino and his wife Mary; and sisters, Elizabeth Battaglino and her husband William Connolly, and Stephanie Battaglino and her partner Mari.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, stjude.org/donate or Nutley Volunteer Emergency Rescue Squad, 119 Chestnut St, Nutley, NJ 07110 would be appreciated.
Services and burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery will be private. A memorial service will be celebrated at a future date.
