James Biondi, of Nutley, who would have completed his 103rd birthday on September 14th, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on September 2nd. He leaves behind his son James and daughter-in-law Kathie, his son John, his son Joseph and daughter-in-law Jan, his daughter Donna Bolcato and son-in-law Rich. He leaves 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and his sister
Adeline Rose. James was pre-deceased by his loving wife Josephine, and many brothers and sisters. He proudly served in the Army Air Force during World War II. He was a skilled carpenter and with his brothers, built many homes in Nutley.
Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Tuesday September 7 at 8:30 am.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, Nutley at 9:30 am followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to NJ State Library Talking Book and Braille Center.
