James M. Doyle, of Nutley, passed away on March 3, 2022. Born in Newark, on September 21, 1933, he was raised in Jersey City and Kearny prior to moving to Nutley 50 years ago. James was the son of the late James Aloyousis. and Hilda (Vogel) Doyle. He retired from Prudential Securities in 2001 where he was First Vice President, Information Systems & Telecommunications Services, Previously, he held executive positions at Bache Halsey Stuart and the Home Insurance Group. He was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickson University, he also studied at Columbia University, Seton Hall University and Stevens Institute of Technology, where he earned his Master of Management Science, (1975), additionally, he pursued advanced graduate and Doctoral studies in business management. He was a devout parishioner of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Nutley NJ, and a member of the St. Mary’s Counsel of Knights of Columbus. He served as a specialist and statical analyst on the General Staff of XVIII Airborne Corps Headquarters, Fort Bragg NC, was a member of the Nutley American Legion Post #70, and honorary member the Veterans of Foreign War. He is survived by his four children, James P. Doyle, Helen Doyle-Marino and her husband Christopher Marino, George J. Doyle, and his wife Allison, Claire Doyle-King, and her husband Bill, his sisters, Cecilia, “Ciel” Long, Hilda “Mickey” Tracy, Kathleen “Kay” Fordham and his many nieces and nephews. Beloved Grandfather of Cameron and Claudia Marino, George Matthew and Riley Doyle, Billy, and Tessi King.

The funeral will be Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at 9:30am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.

A Funeral mass will be offered at St. Mary’s Church, Nutley at 10:30am.

The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Monday, March 7, from 4-8pm
