James Casey Steneck passed away on Thursday December 28, 2017. Born in Passaic, he was raised in Nutley and lived there before going to Wallington 3 years ago. He was a graduate of Nutley High School and attended Elim Bible Institute and College in Lima, New York. He was an avid hockey player, a member of the ISCA Grizzlies and was a member of Love Church in Elmira, New York.
James is survived by his mother, Michele Moore-Grant, his step-father, Ken Moore, his brother, Kristopher Moore and his wife, Christina Clabby and his nephews, Kooper and Kenneth Moore. He also leaves his grandfather, Jack Manfria, many dear aunts, uncles and cousins and Joseph and Meredith Steneck.
Relatives and friends will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Tuesday January 2 from 4-8 pm.
A Funeral Service will also be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Renovation House 379 Dean Creek Rd. Spencer, New York, 14883 would be appreciated.
