Loving Wife, Mother, Sister-in-Law, Grandmother, & Great-Grandmother
Jane C. Zwirek, 97 of Hawthorne, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019. Born in Freeland, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Fioravanti and Mary (Bartolo) Corazza and lived in Clifton and Nutley before moving to Hawthorne 5 years ago. A wife and mother, Jane was a proud graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She was also a member of St. Mary’s Rosary Society, former member of the Nutley Town Club, and enjoyed playing golf in her free time.
The beloved wife of the late Louis C. Zwirek, Jane is survived by her daughters, Judith Rozema and her husband, Barry and Jill Scirocco and her husband, Joseph; a brother-in-law, John Zwirek and sister-in-law, Teresa Corazza; 5 grandchildren, Amanda, Barry, and Mark Rozema and Stephanie and Michael Scirocco; and also 4 great-grandchildren.
The Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, 17 Monsignor Owens Place in Nutley on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 10:45am.
There will be a visitation at St. Mary’s Church from 9:30am until mass time.
The entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to American Macular Degeneration Foundation, www.macular.org/how-donate or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org/donate or Valley Hospice Hospital Foundation, 223 N. Van Dien Avenue Ridgewood, NJ 07450 would be preferred.
