Janice A. Regenye, 81 of Cedar Grove, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020. Born in Newark, Janice was raised in Irvington and lived in Nutley prior to moving to Cedar Grove. She was the daughter of the late John and Lillian (Lynch) Regenye. Serving on the National League of Nursing Board, Janice was a graduate of St. Michael’s School of Nursing and received her master’s degree in education. She also taught nursing at East Orange School of Nursing, Clara Maass, and Orange Memorial School of Nursing.
The funeral will be Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 8:30am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30am at St. Mary’s Church in Nutley.
The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery North Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3-5pm.
