Jay Michael “Jay Byrd” Morrone, 33 of Bloomfield passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019. Born in Belleville, he was a lifelong resident of Bloomfield. He worked as a sprinkler fitter with Sprinkler Fitters Local 696 in Millburn.
He is survived by his loving parents, Kenneth J. and Angela M (Zicaro) Morrone; his son, Tristan Reign Morrone; his sister, Krystal Chiaravallo and her husband Al; his girlfriend, Kim Casciano and his nieces and nephew, Alexa, Alyssa and Luca.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 6, 2020 at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley at 11 a.m.
The interment will follow the service at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-5 p.m.
