Jean Meggiolaro, 89 formerly of Nutley died peacefully on Sunday March 6, 2022. Born in Passaic NJ, she grew up in Lyndhurst, married her late husband Louis, moved to Belleville and eventually settled in Nutley while raising her family. She later moved to Toms River NJ and then lived out her last years in Cedar Knolls, NJ. Jean was the beloved wife of the late Louis C. Meggiolaro. She is survived by her loving family, sons Louis and his wife Gail, Michael and his wife MaryAlice; her grandchildren Danielle Wilson, Lisa Savastano and her husband Bill, Louis Meggiolaro and his girlfriend Melissa Chierico, Melissa Pena and her husband Jonathan, Michele LoVetere and her husband John, and Michael Meggiolaro. She also leaves her loving great grandchildren, Landon Wilson, Oliver Pena, and Angelo LoVetere. She was predeceased by her parents, Angelina and Natale Cafone; her siblings, Louis Cafone, James Cafone, Tessie Simone, Florence Bolcato, Josephine Dygus and Mary Arace. Jean loved all of her family and friends and her Italian heritage. The town of Nutley was always her dearest place to live.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, Nutley at 10:30 am followed by burial at East Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clifton.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8 pm.
