Jean Ann O’Brien 68, of Rutherford passed away on April 7, 2021. Born in Glen Ridge she resided in Nutley prior to moving to Rutherford. Jean retired as a secretary with Cedar Crest Village in Pompton Lakes, NJ. Jean was the daughter to the late Herbert and Annabelle (Rezincek) Pechfelder. She was predeceased by her loving husband William M. O’Brien. She leaves behind her son Thomas M. O’Brien and his wife Fabiola Villmann Quiroz, her longtime companion William Mennetti, and her three brothers Richard, Dennis, and Herb Pechfelder.

The funeral will be Monday, April 12, 2021 at 11am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.

The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield, NJ.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Monday, April 12, 2021 from 9-11am
