Obituary for Jeanne DeFabrizio
Devoted wife and mother, loving “Nana”
Jeanne M. DeFabrizio, 82 of Brick, passed away on Thursday February 27, 2020 at her home. Born in East Orange, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Jankeliatis) Kondreck. She was a lifelong resident of Belleville before recently moving to Brick.
She is survived by her loving husband, Paul Jones, her daughter, Lisa Marie DeFabbi and husband, Joey, her son, Gabriel, Jr. and his former spouse, Bijou, her daughter-in-law, Carla DeFabrizio, her brother Jack Kondreck and his wife Bev, a brother-in-law, John Coppola, and her Goddaughter Christina Russoniello.
Jeanne’s purpose in life was being Nana to her grandchildren, Dina Marie, Melissa, Brianna, Gabriel III, Michael, Joe Joe and her great granddaughter, Camilla Vincenza. Her life was filled with laughter, friendship, and unconditional love from her husband, Paul.
Along with her parents, she was also predeceased by her first husband, Gabriel DeFabrizio, her son, Vincent, her daughter Vickie, her brother Richie, and sisters Terry and Cathy.
The Funeral Service will be held at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St. Nutley on Tuesday March 3 at 11 am.
Cremation services will be private.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
