Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother

Jennie J. Hammond (Giovanna nee Cordasco) formerly of Nutley, passed away on Tuesday, October 09, 2018. Born in Nutley, she was the daughter of the late Stefano and Rose (Restaino) Cordasco. Formerly, she worked for Peerless Tube in Bloomfield.
The beloved wife of the late James Hammond, she is survived by her children, Marie K. Bagileo and her husband, Jerry, James Hammond Jr. and his wife, Susan, Don Hammond and his wife, Justine, Steven Hammond and his wife, Debbie, Gregory Hammond and his wife, Janet and Kimberly Siculietano and his her husband, Dan; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and her sister, Antoinette Frusteri. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Marie Jacques and Angelica Taylor and her brothers, Emil, Gerard and Steven Cordasco.

The funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.

The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield,

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 3-8 p.m. and Friday from 10:30 a.m. until service time.
