Joan Ann Alverso, 78, of Bloomfield, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023. Born in Newark, NJ, Joan was the daughter of the late Franklin and Josephine (Cervo) Munley. She worked as an administrative assistant for the Township of Montclair. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and was a part of Fewsmith Knitting Club. She was also an avid Giants fan. Joan is survived by her beloved husband Samuel A. Alverso, her daughter Mary Ritacco, brothers Thomas Pappa and his wife Barbara and Edward Munley, granddaughter Lia Ritacco-Crocco, and 2 great-grandchildren Joseph and Luciana Crocco.
Funeral Services were held privately.
