On June 21, 2018 Joan H. Gabriele of Belleville, NJ left this earthly plane to join her parents Mildred and John Gabriele. Joan was born in Orange, grew up in Bloomfield, graduated Bloomfield High School and attended Seton Hall University. A resident of Belleville for the last 31 years, Joan was politically active and a Republican District Leader. She worked for 32 years inside the Bell System including NJ Bell, Bell Atlantic and Verizon.
She was survived by her sister Sandra J. Harrington, brother John D. Gabriele, his wife Josefina, niece Donna Marie Gabriele, nephew Raymond Harrington, grandnephew Joseph, as well as many loving cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joan should be made to “The Belleville Foundation” (501-C3), PO Box 684, Belleville, NJ 07109.
Memorial Mass to be held on July 14, 2018 12:00 noon at St Peters Church, William Street Belleville, NJ. Interment of cremains at St. Peter's Cemetery.
