Joan Zaccheo, 80, of Nutley, passed away on April 21, 2023. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Nutley for 50 years. Joan was the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Carrozza. She was a Library Aide, with the Nutley Board of Education in Yantacaw School. Joan was an oil and water color painting artist and also made stained glass lamps - she was the craftiest women in town from jewelry making to crocheting. She was smart as a whip and had knowledge about everything! She had a heart of gold. She is survived by her loving husband Michael J. Zaccheo, her daughters Alyssa Calbi, and her husband Richard, and Andréa Mielnicki, and her husband Anthony, her brother Benedict Carrozza, and her grandchildren, John and Madison Calbi, and Cecelia and Anthony Jr., Mielnicki.

The funeral will be Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 9:30am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre Street, Nutley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley at 10:30am.

The entombment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, NJ.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Monday, April 24, 2023, from 4 - 8pm.
