Loving Father & Grandfather

John F. Cariaga, 74 of Nutley passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019. Born in Mangaldan, Philippines, the son of Celestino and Teodora (Frianeza) Cariaga, he lived in Passaic and Belleville prior to moving to Nutley 25 years ago.
He retired from Quest Diagnostics in Teterboro as a Lab Technologist.

John is survived by his beloved children, Rhodora Lee, Lourdes Cariaga Franch, Kimberly, Jonathan, John Jr., Jayson and Joel Cariaga; his sisters, Florentina Deguia and Nida F. Cariaga; his brothers, Francisco and Celestino Cariaga, Jr. and 12 grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Laurie C. Little and Victoria C. Arellano and his brother, Ricardo Cariaga.

The funeral will be Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley at 10 a.m.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Nutley at 11 a.m.

The cremation services will be private.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
